David Swantner. Raised on the Gulf Coast in South Tx; began drawing at age 4; attended Rice University; worked with pen & ink, charcoal & graphite; self-taught until he met Dalhart & Michael Windbert; spent 5 yrs intensely studying master’s painting principles gave him the studio training to accomplish works of art. His studio is in Austin, TX.
