Harry Worthman (1909-1989). Born in N.Y.C., he knew early in life art would be his career. He attended Art Students League in N.Y.C. He also studied at the National Academy of Design and the Cooper Union, both in N.Y.C. He studied under George Bridgman, Dean Cornwell & Frank Vincent Dumond. In 1948 he moved to Texas where he finished out his career, where he produced his finest works as a portrait artist.
