Julien Porisse. Born in 1927, Julien began painting in Kenya in the mid-1950’s, moving back to Paris in 1954. He used black lines to outline colored shapes giving a strong expressionist touch to figurative works. He focused on French landscapes, cityscapes, and marines throughout Paris. he has exhibited throughout Europe and the U.S.
