Milbe Benge. The daughter of a Baptist minister, Ms. Benge traveled through California & Texas because of her father’s missionary work and because of this she displays a wide and accurate knowledge of the rural countryside. She studied under A.D. Greer & Dalhart Windberg. Her work has been called “romantic realism” because of her ability to softly convey the beauty of nature as a true sense of place. She is represented in several art galleries throughout the country.
