David Swantner. Raised on the Gulf Coast in South TX; began drawing at age 4; attended Rice University; worked with pen & ink, charcoal & graphite; self-taught until he met Dalhart & Michael Windberg; spent 5 yrs intensely studying the master’s painting principles gave him the studio training to accomplish works of art. His studio is in Austin, TX.
